Kalon Humphries is in his first season on the Morehead State coaching staff, serving as the assistant defensive line coach. He also serves as the recruiting analyst.

He arrived to Morehead State after serving as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach at Independence (Kan.) Community College.

Humphries spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as the varsity offensive line coach for Walled Lake (Mich.) High School.

Humphries began his playing career at Adrian (Mich.) College, where he was a starter on Adrian’s 2012 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championship team.

He finished his career as a preferred walk-on at the University of Michigan.

Originally from Novi, Mich., Humphries graduated from Michigan with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2016.
