MOREHEAD, Ky.— Morehead State Director of Athletics
Brian Hutchinson has been selected as the Third Vice President of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Athletic Directors’ Association.
He is one of four officers serving the group, which is a selection of athletics directors from FCS schools that help steer the NCAA’s governance of the Division I football subdivision. He will advance to Second Vice President next year and will eventually be President of the association for the 2013 season.
Hutchinson has served on several committees during his six-year tenure as MSU’s Director of Athletics. He is a current member of the NCAA Division I Recruiting and Personnel Issues Cabinet. He has also served on the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision Governance Committee, the FCS Midwest Regional Advisory Committee and the Division I Football Issues Committee. For the 2006-07 year, Hutchinson served as chair of the OVC Board of Directors of Athletics.
