MOREHEAD, Ky.—Morehead State sophomore kicker
Rainer Duzan was named Pioneer Football League Special Teams Player of the Week the League announced Sunday.
Duzan scored nine points and kicked the ball 21 times as Morehead State won a 45-39 PFL contest at Marist, Saturday. He had six PATs, a 39-yard field goal, six punts and eight kickoffs. Duzan averaged 42.0 yards per punt, with a 64-yard long punt and two downed inside the 20. His kickoffs averaged 47.5 yards per kick, with a net yardage of 41.8 yards per kick.
It marks the second time this season Duzan has won the award and third time in his career.
MSU plays at first-year program Georgia State in a regionally televised game Saturday.
