MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State men's tennis coach Kevin Fulton will take eight of his Eagles to Louisville this weekend for the U of L Winter Invitational.
Play gets underway Friday and continues through Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. There are two flights in both sngles and doubles. The Eagles have four players in flight A and four in flight B for singles. MSU also has two doubles teams in each flight.
In flight A singles round one, sophomore Seve Day opens up play against Butler's Austin Woldmoe. Senior Justin Harlow faces Wright State's Lauri Makikalli. Sophomore David Clifford battles Bellarmine's Igal Mostkov, and senior Roger White is paired up against Xavier's Jimmy Roebker.
In flight B singles, senior Chris Shafik squares off versus Belmont's Rafael Matos. Fellow senior Nathan Blum is pitted against Butler's Pulok Bhattacharya, and junior Hugo Almonte battles Louisville's Brad Merchant. Junior Nathan Martin received a bye into the second round.
