MURRAY, Ky. -- The Morehead State men’s golf team placed fifth out of 14 teams in the 2011 Murray State Invitational at the Miller Memorial Golf Course. The Eagles carded a 296 on Tuesday en route to a three-round total of 871.
Senior Crit Reddick (76-69-71--216) tied for 12th place to lead Morehead State.
Eagles senior Dean Schneider (70-74-75--219) tied for 18th, while juniors Jared Flanery (73-71-76--220) and Sam Zirnheld (72-74-74--220) shared 20th, and sophomore Michael Pinsonneault (72-74-77--223) tied for 34th.
Murray State (852) won the event, while Lipscomb (857), Belmont (866) and UT Martin (869) also finished in the top five.
Morehead State returns to action Oct. 10-11 when it travels to the Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational in Hebron, Ky.
