LOUISVILLE, Ky. --
Morehead State's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (12-25, 20-25, 18-25) decision to the Louisville Cardinals Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Arena in an NCAA tune-up match.

The Eagles fall to 26-7, while U of L moves to 23-8.

MSU redshirt sophomore Aryn Bohannon led the squad with nine kills, while redshirt senior Emma Keough totaled four blocks. Sophomore Leslie Schellhaas picked up a match-best 14 digs. But the Eagles were hampered by 10 Cardinal blocks as they hit just .037.

Lola Arslanbekova and Emily Juhl combined for 26 kills with 13 each, and Juhl hit .761 with only one error.

On the plus side, the Eagles did out-dig the host team, 34-30. MSU won the defensive battle, collecting more digs than its opponent, now in 31 of its 33 matches.

Following a 25-12 loss in the opening set, MSU found it self trailing 20-14 in set two. But the Eagles scored the next three to put pressure on U of L. MSU could not close any further though as the Cardinals held on for the five-point win.

Morehead State will find out its NCAA Tournament opponent and location on Sunday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU. MSU will host a watch part beginning at 5 p.m. ET in the Adron Doran University Center.
