MOREHEAD, Ky. --
The Morehead State men’s basketball team (4-7) continues its non-conference schedule on Monday when it travels to America East Conference opponent Binghamton (0-8) at 8:15 p.m. ET.  The Eagles have been idle the past eight days due to semester finals.

The game will be webcast live on BUBearcats.TV.  It will also be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network, which includes four affiliates in Eastern Kentucky and MSUEagles.com.

Morehead State has suffered back-to-back heartbreaking losses by just a combined five points.  The Eagles own regular-season wins over Asbury (Ky.), West Alabama, Princeton and Mid-Continent (Ky.) this season.

Binghamton has dropped nine consecutive regular-season affairs dating back to last season and 21 of its last 23 overall.  The Bearcats have suffered home defeats to Colgate, Army and Bucknell this year.

Morehead State is led by senior Terrance Hill (13.0 ppg), junior Milton Chavis (5.5 rpg) and senior Lamont Austin (2.7 apg).  Chavis matched a career-best with 14 points on Dec. 10 against South Dakota, while junior Kahlil Owens added a career-high 15 rebounds.

Binghamton is led by sophomore Robert Mansell (14.4 ppg) and freshman Ben Dickinson (14.0 ppg).  Mansell tossed in a team-high 19 points on Saturday vs. Hofstra.  The Bearcats have no seniors on this year’s squad.

Donnie Tyndall is in his sixth season as the head coach at Morehead State (100-77, .565) and his seventh year in charge of a college basketball program (130-82, .613).

Mark Macon is in his third season as the head coach at Binghamton (21-49, .300) and his third year in charge of a college basketball program.  Macon played six seasons in the NBA with Denver and Detroit after setting Temple’s all-time scoring record with 2,609 points.

Morehead State posted an 80-74 win over Binghamton last season in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.  Hill scored 17 points in that tilt, which was MSU’s 21st consecutive victory at Johnson Arena.
