MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State men’s tennis team is set to compete in three tournaments this fall, beginning with this weekend’s Louisville Fall Invitational, hosted by Louisville. The tournament will be held at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Ky., on Sept 16-18.
“We’re looking forward to this weekend,” said coach
Kevin Fulton. “We have been working hard and it’s time to let the horses out of the stables, so to speak. We have a great core of returning players and look for several to have breakout years.”
The first round of doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16 with singles to follow. This year’s tournament will feature three divisions in singles and two doubles flights with main draw and consolation play. Participating schools include MSU, Austin Peay, Chicago State, Cleveland State, Kenyon College, Kentucky, Louisville, Murray State and Wright State.

The Eagles will also be participating in the Louisville Winter Invitational on Oct. 14-16, as well as the ITA Regionals on Oct. 20-24.
