MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men’s basketball team (13-13, 6-6) opens a three-game road trip on Saturday when it travels to Eastern Kentucky (14-12, 6-6) at 7 p.m. ET.
The game will be webcast live on OVCSports.tv. It will also be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network, which includes four affiliates in Eastern Kentucky and MSUEagles.com.
Morehead State has won four of its past six games, with victories over UT Martin, Norfolk State, Tennessee Tech and Eastern Illinois.

Senior Ty Proffitt (10.1 ppg, .379 3FG%), junior Kahlil Owens (4.9 rpg), senior Lamont Austin (2.9 apg, 1.5 spg), junior Milton Chavis (.538 FG%) and junior Marsell Holden (.379 3FG%, .920 FT%) lead MSU.
Sophomore Drew Kelly tallied a team-best 14 points for the Eagles on Wednesday against Jacksonville State, while Proffitt added 11.
Senior Jaron Jones (15.9 ppg, .550 FG%), freshman Eric Stutz (5.0 rpg), junior Mike DiNunno (2.7 apg, 1.5 spg, .824 FT%) and senior Jeff Allgood (.409 3FG%) pace EKU.
Senior Joshua Jones registered game highs of 15 points and four steals for the Colonels in Tuesday’s win over Mid-Continent, while Stutz contributed 11 points and seven rebounds.
Donnie Tyndall is in his sixth season as the head coach at Morehead State (109-83, .568) and his seventh year in charge of a college basketball program (139-88, .612).
Jeff Neubauer is in his seventh season as the head coach at Eastern Kentucky (116-98, .542) after spending three years as the top assistant at West Virginia.
Eastern Kentucky owns a 95-78 advantage in the all-time series against Morehead State, but the Eagles have won eight of the last 10 meetings overall.
MSU posted a 57-54 victory over EKU on Jan. 14 at Johnson Arena. Kelly poured in a career-best 26 points for the Eagles on 12-of-16 from the free-throw line, while Jaron Jones paced the Colonels with 15 points on 9-of-10 from the charity stripe.
