MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball team will host Asbury (Ky.) at 7 p.m. ET time Monday night. The host Eagles will look to improve to 5-1 in home games this season.

Morehead State (8-6) is coming off an 82-67 setback at Tennessee on Dec. 23. The Asbury Eagles (7-4) compete in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the NAIA. MSU has already defeated one NAIA team this year, a 107-60 triumph over Mid-Continent (Ky.) in the season opener on Nov. 9.
Junior Angelo Warner continues to pace the MSU offense with 17.3 points per game. He has scored in double figures in 13 of the 14 contests and has five 20+ games. Warner is one of three active MSU players averaging double figures in points. Sophomore Brent Arrington (12.1) and senior Chad Posthumus (10.5) are the others. Junior Kareem Storey leads the Ohio Valley Conference with 90 assists.
Asbury has four players scoring double figures per outing, and the Eagles average 80.3 points as a unit. Cam Richardson tops the offense with 13.8 points per game, while CJ Penny contributes 13.7 points and a team-best 9.8 rebounds.
The last regular season meeting between the teams came on Nov. 17, 2011 with MSU claiming a 100-48 victory in Johnson Arena.
