The Panthers took game one, 6-3, and went on to complete the sweep with a 6-5 victory in game two.
MSU jumped out to an early lead in the first inning of game one on an RBI fielder’s choice by senior first baseman Amber Riddle, but could not get another run on the board until the seventh. Junior second baseman Stephanie Etter drove in two on a single, but the Eagles could not complete the comeback.
