Terrice Robinson Named to All-Conference Team

OVC RELEASE | ROBINSON BIO

MOREHEAD, Ky. –
Morehead State junior guard Terrice Robinson, the Ohio Valley Conference’s third-leading scorer, has been tabbed second-team all-conference.

Robinson scored 524 points this year (17.3/game), finishing tied for the eighth-highest single-season point total in program history. She posted 10 games with 20+ points, scored in double figures 25 times and led the team in scoring 17 times.

“We are very proud of Terrice and the season she put together,” Head Coach Tom Hodges said. “To be the third leading scorer in OVC play while drawing constant pressure and double teams all season long is a tribute to her and the growth she has had since she came to campus.”

Robinson poured in a career-high 39 points at Ohio University in December, which ranked as the second-best single-game effort in school history. She also recorded a 30-point performance at Eastern Kentucky in early January. In conference play, Robinson averaged 18.7 points per outing.

She also ranked sixth in the conference in free throw percentage (.821) and three-pointers made per game (2.0). Robinson drained 30 consecutive free throws to end the season.

“Everyone’s game plan this season revolved around stopping Terrice, and she was still able to put up really impressive numbers,” Hodges added. “I’m very excited about her future and her ability to lead our basketball team for another season.”

She led the team with 59 three-pointers and added 69 assists and 35 steals while averaging a team-high 32 minutes per game.
