MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Junior middle blocker Laura McDermott, sophomore middle blocker Hannah Sigala and senior outside hitter Aryn Bohannon all recorded 17 kills, and the Morehead State volleyball team rallied to defeat IUPUI, 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10), Saturday afternoon at Wetherby Gym.
Morehead State improved to 3-3, while the Jaguars fell to 2-4.
Sigala notched career-highs in kills and hitting percentage (.448), while McDermott hit .316. Bohannon also scooped 14 IUPUI attempts for a double-double, her third of the year.
Senior defensive specialist Lindsey Roth, starting for the first time this season, tallied a team-best 21 digs. Junior setter Colbey Cameron produced a career-high 61 assists and had 14 digs. Senior libero Leslie Schellhaas notched 20 digs.
Moriah Fair topped the Jaguars' stat sheet with 21 kills. IUPUI was whistled for 13 blocking errors.
The Eagles finish the Comfort Inn and Suites Invitational Saturday night versus Montana State at 7 p.m. ET.
