VS. JACKSONVILLE STATE -- LIVE VIDEO | LIVE STATSMOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State volleyball team opens a three-match week on Tuesday at Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Dayton (16-5). First serve from the Frericks Center is set for 7 p.m. ET.
The Eagles (0-19, 0-6) return to Wetherby Gym for Ohio Valley Conference contests on Friday against Tennessee Tech (8-14, 3-3) at 7 p.m. and Saturday versus Jacksonville State (12-9, 5-1) at 2 p.m. Everyone in attendance on Friday will receive free mini corndogs.
Morehead State and Dayton have not met in regular-season volleyball since 1997. The Eagles swept home-and-home matches against both Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State last year.

UNCHARTED TERRITORYMorehead State is off to its first 0-19 start in school history. The Eagles started their varsity volleyball program in 1972, and the Ohio Valley Conference began sponsoring the sport in 1981.
LEADING THE EAGLESJunior Hannah Sigala leads Morehead State with 3.20 points, 2.55 kills and 0.84 blocks per set. The middle blocker is also hitting a team-best .279 in 69 sets played. She collected a team-best 119 blocks and 198 kills in 2013.
CAN YOU SAY TRIPLE-DOUBLE?Sophomore Bailey Nichol tallied her second triple-double of the season on Saturday against Southeast Missouri. The outside hitter/setter recorded 24 assists, 12 kills, 10 digs, four blocks and a .250 hitting percentage. Morehead State had not previously had a triple-double since 2008.
A CAREER-BEST PERFORMANCESophomore Sydney Schuler clobbered a career-high 13 kills and hit .321 on Saturday against Southeast Missouri. The middle blocker has now reached the 10-kill plateau in two of the last three matches after failing to get there in her first 32 contests at Morehead State.
LEADING THE WAYJaime Gordon is in his 12th year as Morehead State's head coach. He is 228-150 (.603) at MSU and 308-177 (.635) in 14 years leading a collegiate program. Gordon has piloted the Eagles to seven regular-season conference titles, two league tournament crowns and both of the school's NCAA Tournament berths.
THE ASSISTANTSEd Tolentino (associate head coach), Kyrsten Becker (assistant coach) and Marcie West (volunteer assistant) return to Morehead State's staff in 2014, while Daniel Becker (director of operations) joins the group after two years as MSU's video coordinator.
DOMINATING THE CIRCUITMorehead State is 0-6 in Ohio Valley Conference play, but went 67-3 in league matches over the last four years. No other Division I program won 96 percent of their league tilts during that stretch.
DOING IT IN THE LEAGUEMorehead State would tie an Ohio Valley Conference all-time record if it wins the 2014 regular-season crown. Southeast Missouri is the only school in league history to win five straight.
BEST IN THE NATIONMorehead State won 36 consecutive Ohio Valley Conference regular-season matches from 2011 through 2013. The nation's longest streak was just one shy of the all-time league standard.
