Natalie Greenwell, to a 92-77 road win against the Lipscomb Bison on Saturday afternoon at Allen Arena.

Greenwell finished her big day with 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists, helping the Eagles (4-5) snap a three-game losing streak, while the Bison (3-6) have now lost three in a row.

"We started to pull away in the third quarter, handing out more assists than turnovers, and when we do that, we put ourselves in a great position," said head coach
Greg Todd. "Defensively, I was very pleased with our effort, to the point that we stopped pressing later in the second half."

Freshman guard
Miranda Crockett recorded her first career double-double in the win, scoring 19 points and snatching a team-high 11 rebounds. She also finished with six assists. Three other Eagles finished with double digit points, including junior guard
Kay Kay Tate and junior forward
Shay Steele, who both finished with 14. Sophomore forward
Eriel McKee had 12 points.

MSU played back-and-forth with Lipscomb until late in the third quarter when the Eagles opened it up with an 18-to-3 run. Â MSU controlled the paint throughout, out-scoring the Bison, 44-to-24, between the blocks.
The Eagles entered the contest as the nation's best blocking team and finished with eight, led by Steele's six.

Next up, MSU travels to Carbondale, Ill. to take on Southern Illinois on Saturday, December 12. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. ET.
