Promotions Set for Last Week of Home Basketball Games

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State has finalized promotions for its last week of 2014-15 home basketball games.  The Eagle women host Tennessee Tech on Monday and Jacksonville State on Saturday, while the MSU men welcome Tennessee Tech on Thursday and JSU on Saturday.

Details on the four home contests are below:

Monday, Feb. 23 -- Women vs. Tennessee Tech -- 5 p.m. ET
***  It will be "Think Pink" night to raise money for cancer research.  Pink "MSU Cares" t-shirts will be on sale for $10.  All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
***  Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.  MSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.

Thursday, Feb. 26 -- Men vs. Tennessee Tech -- 9 p.m. ET
***  The game will be nationally televised by CBS Sports Network.
***  Free mini corn dogs will be available for Morehead State students.
***  It will be a "Blueout" as all Eagle fans are encouraged to wear blue.
***  MSU students are expected to lead a toga party.  Fans are encouraged to wear blue togas.
***  Tickets start at $8 for adults and $3 for children.  MSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.

Saturday, Feb. 28 -- Women vs. Jacksonville State -- 3 p.m. ET
***  It will be Senior Day as Mackenzie Arledge, Tyler Ituen, Almesha Jones, Casey Ryans and Maiki Viela are recognized after the game.
***  MSU will participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer program.  Blue "Game On Cancer" t-shirts will be on sale for $10.  All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
***  This is the final regular-season contest for the Morehead State women.
***  One-session tickets start at $8 for adults and $3 for children.  MSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.

Saturday, Feb. 28 -- Men vs. Jacksonville State -- 6 p.m. ET
***  It will be Senior Day as Jalen Courtney, Chad Donley, Karam Mashour, Billy Reader, Kareem Storey and Angelo Warner are honored prior to the contest.
***  MSU will participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer program.  Blue "Game On Cancer" t-shirts will be on sale for $10.  All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
***  This is the final regular-season contest for the Morehead State men.
***  One-session tickets start at $8 for adults and $3 for children.  MSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.

The Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Tournaments are set for March 4-7 at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville.  The event features seven men's and seven women's games.  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will include four contests each day, while the two championship tilts are slated for Saturday.

Both MSU teams are currently sixth overall.  The No. 1 and 2 seeds get a double-bye in the men's tournament, while the No. 3 and 4 seeds receive a single bye.  There are no byes in the women's bracket.  The No. 1, 2, 7 and 8 seeds open on Wednesday, while the others begin on Thursday.
