RESULTS
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's track and field team had one final tune-up meet before the conference championships as the Eagles participated in the Louisville Cardinal Twilight Friday.
A majority of the Morehead State runners competed in the 800-meter and 1,500-meter events.
Junior Clay Dixon led the way with a sixth-place showing in the 800-meter race. Dixon crossed the finish line in 1:56.77.
Seven Eagles ran the 1,500-meter race. Junior Jorge Gil-Juarez paced the contingent in 13th place at 4:00.21. Junior Evan Childers and sophomore Landon Meserve also finished in the top 20.
The OVC Championships are set for Friday and Saturday at Austin Peay.
