Rifle eclipses school records in victory over North Georgia

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- School records fell again Saturday as the Morehead State rifle team defeated North Georgia, 4618-4588, at Button Rifle Range.

The Eagles established the school aggregate and air rifle records, breaking them for the third time just this season.

Freshman Karly Potts was the brightest spot in air competition, shooting a career-best 591. Freshman Jesse Moyer carded a 586, and sophomore Siarra Crum nailed down a 584 in air. 

Junior Haley Wilson paced the team in smallbore with a 574, while freshman Sarah Fink tallied a 573.

Morehead State returns right back to action at home on Sunday, hosting Army.
