NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Morehead State volleyball fell in three sets in their regular season finale at Belmont (17-25, 21-25, 18-25) on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Eagles have lost four straight and their record moves to 11-19 overall and 7-9 in league play. They have secured the seventh seed in the OVC Tournament, which will take place next week.

Merideth Jewell led Morehead State with eight kills each, but they managed to hit just .067 as a team.

Bailey Nichol collected 23 assists, seven digs, and four kills, while hitting .444.
Next week in the OVC Tournament, the Eagles will face the No. 2 seed, which will either be SIU Edwardsville or Murray State. They lost in five sets at SIUE, but they handed the Racers their lone conference loss at home in early October.
The tournament will begin on Thursday, Nov. 17 if Murray State hosts or Saturday, Nov. 19 if SIUE hosts.
