Greg Todd. "We were very happy to have scoring as balanced as we had."
Five MSU players scored in double-figures, but double-double performances from
Brianna McQueen and
Brooke Todd – the first of their careers – as well as 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds from
Aaliyah Wells, highlighted the afternoon.
McQueen recorded 10 points, a career-high 10 assists, and a career-high five steals en route to being named Most Valuable Player of the contest. Todd finished with career-highs in points (11) and rebounds (13), while blocking three shots.
"Any time you score 10 points and get 10 assists, it's a great performance," Todd said. "11 points and 13 rebounds was also a really good showing from Brooke."
Sophomore guard
Miranda Crockett led all scorers with 16, while
Eriel McKee added 12 points and eight rebounds in only 10 minutes. Sophomore forward

After three games in the Donna Murphy Classic over a five-day period, the Eagles will spend the rest of the week preparing for Miami (Ohio) – the second Mid-American Conference opponent scheduled to visit Johnson Arena this season.
"We'll find out a lot on Saturday against a good Miami team," said Todd. "We'll be challenged. I'm looking forward to it."
Morehead State (2-1) will tip off with the RedHawks (2-0) next Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on the
