STARKVILLE, Miss.—Morehead State men's suffered its fourth loss of the season on Saturday afternoon at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. With a 7-0 defeat to Mississippi State, the Eagles slid to 0-4 on the season, and Mississippi State remained undefeated at 7-0.
The Bulldogs haven't lost a single set since their opening set of matches on Jan. 30 against UNC Wilmington.

Gabriel Ruiz picked up the lone set win of the day against Rishab Agarwal. After dropping the first set 6-4, Ruiz rallied for 7-5 win against Agarwal. The third set was suspended and finished at 1-0. Junior

Garrett Mandrell, and sophomore
Tyler Edlin were all defeated in straight sets.

In doubles competition, the second match of the afternoon featured freshman
Ognjen Sunjevaric and Mercer going deep into play with Luka Sucevic and Hunter Vaugn, but they ultimately fell, 6-4.  The tandem Samudio and Mandrell were defeated in the first set of doubles play, 6-0. Ruiz and Kruunenberg had their match go unfinished.

After a 10-day layoff the Eagles will be at home to take on Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) on Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. ET.
