Video Archive MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Morehead State women's basketball team suffered its fourth straight loss on Saturday afternoon against Belmont, 89-74, at Johnson Arena.
The Eagles' record moves to 9-17 overall and 3-9 in the OVC. The Bruins improved to 18-7 on the year, 10-2 in league play.
Belmont controlled the game throughout, trailing only twice early in the first half. Forward Lauren Thompson scored a game-high 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting and collected six rebounds for the Bruins

Natalie Greenwell led the Eagles with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting, hitting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Junior
Brianna McQueen tallied 14 points and a career-high nine assists. Freshman

Shay Steele each contributed with 13 points, with Steele adding three blocks.
The Eagles travel to Tennessee Tech to take on the Golden Eagles on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET.
