Desmond Bell and junior
Dylan Rich paced the Morehead State track and field teams at the Raleigh Relays this past weekend.
Bell won his heat and finished ninth overall in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 1:52.00. Bell also claimed 13th place in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:51.64. Rich came in 15th in the 1,500-meter event with a time of 3:51.70.
Jorge Gil-Juarez competed in the 5,000-meter run, coming across the finish line in 14:51.62.
The women's team highlight came from Hannah Bailey, who ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:09.85.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday at the Oliver Nickoloff Invitational in Cincinnati.
