MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The four incoming freshmen for the Morehead State rifle program have all been awarded scholarships by the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
Sarah Fink, Jesse Moyer and sisters Karly and Alexa Potts were each awarded $1,000 scholarships by the CMP.
"I am very proud of all four of these scholar athletes," said head coach
Alan Joseph. "They are quite talented on and off the rifle range. Added to my returning athletes, we will be stronger in 2016-17."
Fink is from Hollsopple, Pa, and attends Commonwealth Connections Academy. Moyer is also from Hollsopple, Pa., and goes to North Star High School. The Pottses are natives of Palmyra, Pa., and attend Ephrata High School.
To be eligible for CMP scholarships, junior shooters must:

- Be a U.S. Citizen.
- Be of good moral character.
- Have achieved a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- Be a graduating high school senior.
- Demonstrate acceptance to a university, college or trade school leading to a diploma or trade certification.
- Demonstrate rifle or pistol marksmanship competition experience.
