Eagle Excellence Fund T-shirt fundraiser begins this week

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State athletics has announced an exciting new fundraising campaign featuring t-shirt sales.
 
The t-shirts, sporting a fresh design similar to the Golden State Warriors, are on sale now for only $10 with a portion of proceeds going directly to the Eagle Excellence Fund. T-shirts are available now at the University Bookstore, located on the ground floor of the Adron Doran University Center. They will be on sale online this week as well, and at many local businesses next week.
 
The Eagle Excellence Fund helps provide crucial funding to all Morehead State student-athletes, including degree completion assistance, athletic honors and awards, enhancing the student-athlete experience, providing the Student-Athlete Advisory Board with needed funding and supporting the academic success of athletes. There are many options for being a part of the fund, including corporate partnerships and individual memberships.
 
"This sale is a great and very affordable way to unite our Eagle Empire and support the needs of our students," said Assistant Director of Athletics for External Affairs Brad Smith. "The Eagle Excellence Fund is vital to our success as a department, and we hope the community will join together so we can sell every t-shirt."
 
In addition to sales, t-shirts will be worn by all volunteers at the university's annual move-in days Wednesday and Thursday.
