MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Volleyball will host its Senior Day match on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET against Austin Peay.
Alli Evans and Jess Hall will be honored prior to the action. The Eagles will need to win the match in order qualify for the OVC Tournament. They must also get help with losses by Southeast Missouri and UT Martin. Live stats will be available, but the match will not be on the OVC Digital Network.
Austin Peay (26-5/13-2 OVC) enters as the regular-season champion already but the Lady Govs did absorb a 3-1 home setback to Murray State last time out.
On the other hand, the Eagles (14-14/5-10 OVC)Â topped Eastern Kentucky 3-1 in their last outing on Tuesday.
A native of Prestonsburg, Ky., Hall has played in more than 60 matches during her career. She has played a valuable defensive role and has become an accomplished server as well with more than 30 career aces. Hall also has more than 100 career digs. She has been honored multiple times on the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll and is on track to earn her degree this year.
Evans came to MSU from Lexington, Ky., four years ago and has played in more than 100 career matches. She has tallied more than 325 career kills and has recorded better than 450 career digs. She also has 50 career blocks. Alli has been honored all three seasons on the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll. She is on track graduate in December.
