MOREHEAD, Ky. – After seeing a 17-point comeback effort fall short in last Monday's 68-60 loss to Gardner Webb in the Matthew Mitchell Classic, Morehead State women's basketball (1-1) looks to bounce back against Brescia (Ky.) (2-1) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET.

Junior All-Ohio Valley Conference guard Miranda Crockett led the way with 17 points in the Eagles' first loss of the season last Monday. Senior forward Eriel McKee tallied her second straight double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, marking the 17th such performance of her career. Former Rock Valley (Ill.) transfer Tierra McGowan, who was named OVC Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday, grabbed 16 rebounds (10 offensively) for the second consecutive contest in 26 minutes off the bench.

Wednesday's game marks the first time Morehead State will tip off before noon since traveling to No. 13 Kentucky in 2014-15. That same season, the Eagles defeated Brescia 98-68 at Johnson Arena. McKee recorded 13 points, 10 boards, and three steals as a freshman starter in the win.
