COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Morehead State women's basketball (9-4) returns to action after the holiday break for a matchup at Tennessee Tech (3-8) to open Ohio Valley Conference play for both teams on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Eagles last took the court in a 66-56 upset bid that fell just short at No. 9 West Virginia on Dec. 21.
Darianne Seward logged 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals in the loss, snapping a seven-game MSU win streak. Reigning OVC Newcomer of the Week
Tierra McGowan snagged 11 rebounds and swatted 2 shots in a game-high 38 minutes.
Morehead State will be back on the
OVC Digital Network for the first time since Nov. 30.

Morehead State is seeking its 26th all-time win over Tennessee Tech. The Eagles swept TTU by scores of 79-65 (at home) and 81-52 (on the road) last season.

Morehead State will open Ohio Valley Conference play on the road for the third straight season.
