HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Senior
Anna Magnusson finished in 17th at 13-over to lead the Morehead State women's golf team at the 2017 OVC Championship at Hampton Cove Golf Course.
Overall, the Eagles finished in seventh place at 69-over.
"We absolutely love the opportunity to compete at our OVC Championship. This is a great venue run by a wonderful staff. We would have preferred to have scored much better, but I know we definitely learned some beneficial things to help us next season," said head coach
Stephanie Barker.
Magnusson opened with a 73 and was tied for sixth at the conclusion of the first round. She then shot 76 and 80 in the final two rounds to finish in 17th.
The senior from Taby, Sweden concludes her career with four career wins, 13 top five finishes, and 19 top ten finishes.

Sarah Debnekoff finished tied for 22nd at 18-over (76-81-77), sophomore Ana Dieguez finished in 26th at 19-over (76-79-80), freshman
Gypsie Hutchinson finished tied for 27th at 20-over (77-81-78), and senior
Brittany Whatley finished tied for 35th at 31-over (85-80-82).
