MOREHEAD, Ky. - Joe Campione, who spent three-plus years as Director of Video Production for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the double-A affiliate of the New York Mets, has officially accepted the full-time position of video coordinator at Morehead State Athletics.

"We had a great pool of candidates that applied for the position, and Joe stood out amongst all the finalists," said Assistant AD for External Affairs Brad Smith. "He will bring great energy to our external team, and I expect you'll see our video features reach new heights."

Campione will oversee the Eagle Vision student production crew, produce and direct a large number of live events for the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network, produce weekly feature packages, and compile and distribute highlight packages to local broadcast media and MSUEagles.com.

He comes to Morehead State after spending the 2014, 2015, 2016 and part of the 2017 season in Binghamton.

While in Binghamton, he produced 71-plus home games per season to stream online at MiLB.com, managed the video production staff, wrote, produced, hosted, and edited the daily pregame show, scheduled and managed press conferences, media days, and video shoots with players and sponsors, and created various animations and videos for games.

"I'm extremely excited and thankful to join the Morehead State family. I'm looking forward to helping our video department rise to the next level and provide professional and exciting video content for all of our fans," said Campione.

Campione graduated from George Mason University in 2012 with a double major in english and history, along with a minor in sports communication.
