OVC Release

MOREHEAD, Ky.– The Morehead State women's basketball team received one first-place vote and were tabbed to finish third in the 2018-19 Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Media Poll released by the league on Friday.
 
The Eagles, who are coming off back-to-back 21 wins seasons, were selected to finish behind UT Martin and Belmont.
 
The Bruins, winners of the previous three OVC Tournament Championships, were picked first and received 11 first-place votes. Morehead State was the only team other than Belmont to receive a first-place vote.
 
The poll is voted on by media outlets that cover women's basketball around the league. The poll's full results can be found below.
