PRESEASON ALL-OVC TEAM

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State men's basketball senior forward Lamontray Harris is a member of the official 12-man Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference Team as the league announced its preseason all-conference picks and poll Tuesday at media day.

Harris, a 6-foot-7 athlete from Louisville, Ky., finished the 2017-18 season with averages of 11.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per outing. He also led team at the free throw line, hitting 86 percent of his free tosses (58-of-67). For his career, Harris is 80 percent accurate from the stripe.

Harris scored in double figures 16 times and posted six double-doubles, including a stretch of four consecutive double-doubles in OVC games from Jan. 11-20. His high-water mark game came on Jan. 13 at UT Martin, where he led the Eagles to a victory with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

In his career, he has 30 double-figure scoring games and eight double-doubles.

Morehead State was tabbed 10th in the preseason poll of coaches and media relations' personnel. Belmont edged out Murray State to be picked first.

The Eagles host Berea (Ky.) in an exhibition game on Thurday at 6:05 p.m. ET and open the regular season at home against Kentucky Christian on Nov. 6.
