MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Led by a trio of personal bests, the Morehead State rifle team defeated the VMI women's team Saturday, 4624-4436.

Junior Brandon Bryer posted a personal-best air rifle total of 587 as he finished second only behind teammate Karly Potts, who carded a 591 in air.

Senior Seth Baker set personal bests for air rifle (582) and aggregate (1160) as he also paced the Eagles in smallbore with a 578. Potts tied her personal record in smallbore prone with a 196.

Also in air rifle, Joe Fischer (585) and Siarra Crum (584) had solid totals for the Eagles.

MSU will conclude its 2017-18 season on Saturday at Kentucky for the NCAA Qualifier Match.
