MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's track and field team will be heading to Charleston, Ill. to compete at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday.
The championship will take place at the Lantz Indoor Fieldhouse on the campus of Eastern Illinois.Â
The distance medley and 5,000-meter finals will be Friday evening, while all other events on Friday will be preliminary races. The majority of event finals are set for Saturday.
Last year Gloria Corona-Luna came in 16th in the one-mile run at 5:18.12. Caitlin Cunningham was 22nd in the 3,000-meter event at 10:33.39, and Kansas Greenwell timed in at 18:26.90 for 19th place in the 5,000-meter race.
