MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State track and field returns to action when the teams travel to Rock Hill, S.C., for the Winthrop Invite Friday and Saturday.
 
The meet will consist of 30 other schools and almost 900 athletes.
 
The invite's running events get underway at 3 p.m. ET on Friday, with Saturday events beginning at 9 a.m. All competition will occur at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex.
 
Last weekend, Farah Abdulkarim highlighted the opening outdoor meet for the Eagles by taking second place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Caitlin Cunningham led the women in the 5,000-meter run, placing tenth out of 90 runners with a time of 17:47.22.
