MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Athletics has announced the contract of head softball coach David Williams will not renewed.

Williams served as head coach at MSU for seven seasons (2012-18).

"I want to thank Coach Williams for his time in leading our program, and I wish him, and his family, the best in future endeavors," said Director of Athletics Brian Hutchinson.

Morehead State concluded the 2018 season Friday. A national search to fill the position will begin immediately.
