Former Volleyball Eagle Bailey Nichol Signs to Play Professionally in the Czech Republic

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Former volleyball standout
Bailey Nichol has signed to play professionally in the Czech Republic. The 2017 Morehead State grad joins Královo Pole Brno after transferring from German club SWE Erfurt.
Nichol wrapped her Eagle career as one of the most prolific setters in Morehead State volleyball history, ranking ninth all-time in career assists with 2,155 (6.47 per set). She also added 338 career kills, 53 service aces, and 134 total blocks.
KP Brno, located in Brno, Czech Republic, finished the 2017 season at 13-5, placing third in the Extraliga. KP Brno advanced to the Extraliga semifinals before falling to eventual champion Prostejov.
Morehead State volleyball opens the 2018 season on Aug. 24-25, hosting the Eagle Challenge. The two-day event features St. Francis Brooklyn, Bradley, and Hampton.
