MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State softball program will host a skills camp for aspiring players on Saturday, Sept. 8.
 
The camp will be the first under the leadership of new head coach Samantha Jones. Jones and her staff, along with current players, will give instruction on both offensive and defensive fundamentals and give campers the chance to showcase their skills in scrimmages.
 
Campers will have the opportunity to visit the Morehead State campus and work with the support staff made available to athletes such as strength and conditioning and athletic training.
 
The camp is $140 dollars per athlete and includes a t-shirt or campers can choose another option for $150 that will also include the t-shirt and a ticket to the Morehead State versus Austin Peay football game that will kick off that evening at 6 p.m. at Jayne Stadium. The camp activities will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
