MOREHEAD, Ky. – After dropping two-consecutive matches in overtime, the Morehead State soccer team looks to bring its record to an even 2-2 as Ball State visits Jayne Stadium on Sunday.

The Eagles have come up short on the road to two power-five conference programs in their two outings, dropping a 1-0 matchup in double overtime to Atlantic Coast Conference member Pittsburgh on August 19 and then losing a heartbreaker 2-1 in overtime to South Eastern Conference member Kentucky.

Offensively, redshirt-sophomore Katie Quinn and freshman Colleen Swift have each netted a goal for the Eagles through three games while the team has also been the beneficiary of an own goal that was scored in the 2-1 season-opening win at Akron. Senior defender Mckenna Lavatori has recorded the only assist for the Eagles on the season thus far.

In the goal, redshirt-sophomore Eva Helgadottir has made 21 saves which ranks first in the Ohio Valley Conference and third nationally. Helgadottir has played 284:23 minutes in the goal and faced 57 shots while conceding four goals.

Ball State comes to Jayne Stadium with a 1-1 record and is coming off a loss to OVC rival Eastern Kentucky. The Cardinals fell to the Colonels 1-0 in Richmond, Kentucky on Friday.

Ball State's only goals of the season came off the boots of Abbe Allison and Tatiana Mason in the Cardinals' season-opening 2-1 win at Fort Wayne. In the net, Tristin Stuteville has logged all possible minutes and has made five saves and given up two goals while facing 12 shots.

The Eagles and Cardinals are scheduled to kickoff at 2:00 p.m. ET and the match will be streamed on the OVC Digital Network.
