QUOTING COACH TENYER
Evaluation of his team through four games
"I think we played well in the games we were supposed to in, and I think we could have competed much better in the two games we weren't really expected to win. We have battled through some injuries, but I think the open week came at a really good time. We recruited with the fact that injuries happen. We have a strong and deep roster, so the next guy up will be ready to play."
On facing an option-offense like Davidson
"They have a lot of good pieces, and I think their quarterback is really the key. He has improved and is their field general. The have a lot of weapons. The first thing you have to do against the triple option is take care of that 'dive' guy. You just have to run down the football."
On attacking Davidson's defense (The Wildcat defense leads the nation in total defense and rushing defense)
"We just have to be efficient. Unlike last game, we can't turn the football over four or five times either. Against a team like this, if you can get up early it puts a little more pressure on them. Hopefully we can get a lead and sustain it."
