MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State Women's Basketball team has inked a National Letter of Intent with Georgetown, Ky., native and Scott County High School standout Morgan DeFoor, head coach Greg Todd announced on Wednesday.
 
"We're happy to add Morgan to our family," said Todd. "She's a point guard who has played high school basketball at a great program like Scott County. Morgan is an excellent passer, ball handler, and has big-time three-point shooting ability with uncanny range."
 
DeFoor, a 5-foot-6 guard with more than 1,600 career points at SCHS, has helped the Lady Cardinals to back-to-back 11th region championships and was named to the All-Region and All-Region Tournament Teams in 2018 and 2019.
 
The future Eagle played on the AAU circuit for Team Overtime Performance (OTP).
 
DeFoor will join the Morehead State roster beginning in the fall of 2020.
