MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Looking to halt a two-game unsuccessful skid, the Morehead State football team's next challenge is at Valparaiso this week. The Eagles and Crusaders kick off at Brown Field Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

The game will air live on WIVY-96.3 FM and WMST-106.9 FM and 1150 AM and can be watched live on ESPN+.

Morehead State (4-5/2-3 PFL) fell to Dayton at home last weekend, while Valpo fell at Davidson in a close 27-21 contest. The Crusaders are just 1-8 and 1-4 in PFL play with the win coming against Stetson.

QUOTING COACH TENYER

On what is important in the matchup with Valparaiso
"We need to match their intensity and really play a physical brand of football. We have a lot of goals we want to accomplish still this season, and we have a lot of football left. This is the next big challenge."

On similarities in the two teams this week
"When you look at their (Valpo's) halftime scores they have been in just about game. That's kind of like us too. When we win games, we get in them and stay in them and find ways to win. When we come up short, it's because we had a bad half or just didn't finish."
