FCS PUNTER OF THE YEAR INFORMATION

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State junior specialist Andrew Foster has been named to the inaugural FCS Punter of the Year Preseason Watch List.

The Knoxville, Tenn.,  native is on the list of 28 collegiate punters presented by the Augusta (Ga.) Sports Council, which also sponsors the Ray Guy Award for the FBS level punter of the year.

Foster, who handled the lion's share of the punting and placekicking in 2018, averaged 41.9 yards on 52 boots. He ranked second in the Pioneer League in punting. Foster also slammed a long punt of 73 yards and had nine punts of more than 50 yards.

Eleven of his punts landed inside the 20-yard line of the opponent, and he forced 15 fair catches. In 22 career games, and on 68 career punts, he boasts an average of 40.9 per kick.
