MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State Soccer team will travel to in-state foe Louisville on Sunday evening for an early season non-conference matchup against the Cardinals at Lynn Stadium. The Eagles and Cardinals are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. ET start.
 
Morehead State enters the match 0-1 on the young season after dropping their home opener on Thursday to Butler, 3-0. Louisville boasts a 1-0 record after defeating Ohio State 2-1on the road Thursday evening.
 
It will be the first regular season meeting between the teams since Oct. 1, 2015 in Louisville. Morehead State trails the all-time series 12-1 – the Eagles lone win came in a 2-0 victory on Sept. 12, 2014 at Jayne Stadium.
