MOREHEAD, Ky. – This is a new series leading up to the coming season that allows our fans to get to know our student-athletes. A different player will be featured in a story on their responses to a questionnaire given to our basketball teams.

The inaugural story is on senior James Baker.
 
Why did you choose to come to Morehead State?
Baker: It was the best fit for me to continue my academic and athletic career. Morehead State felt like a welcoming family.
 
What is your favorite basketball memory?
Baker: My favorite basketball memory would be our first game against Kentucky during my freshman year.
 
What is your favorite song and which artist sings it?
Baker: My favorite song is Intro by J. Cole.
 
What is your favorite movie and why did you choose that movie?
Baker: I really like Marvel's Avengers because I love superheroes.
 
What is your favorite restaurant to eat at and what is your go-to meal there?
Baker: My favorite restaurant is SuperChefs in Louisville. I always get the French toast.
 
If you could have one superpower, what would that be and why?
Baker: I would want to be able to read minds or control time. I'd like to freeze, rewind, or fast forward what's going on around me.
