MOREHEAD, Ky. --- Several Morehead State student-athletes competed in the Louisville Cross Country Classic this afternoon. The event was held at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park where MSU participants ran unattached.

Senior Jarrett Mattingly placed 15^th in the Men 8k Open, the highest for participants from Morehead State. He crossed the tape in 25:17.3. In the Women 5k Open, freshman Laikin Tarlton finished with the best time of participants from MSU at 19:14.1, a 26^th place finish.
