Getting to Know: Rifle Sophomore Grace Weber
MOREHEAD, Ky. – This is a new series leading up to the beginning of the coming sports seasons that allows our fans to get to know our student-athletes. A different player will be featured in a story on their responses to a questionnaire given to all of our teams.

This edition is on rifle sophomore Grace Weber.

Why did you choose to come to Morehead State?
Weber: I chose Morehead because it felt like home away from home. Also, the campus is beautiful, the people I met with were very kind, and I was given the wonderful opportunity to compete here.

What is your favorite memory playing your sport?
Weber: My favorite memory was winning the 2020 OVC championships, but I always enjoy the bus rides when we all play different games and are just having a good time together as a team.

What is your favorite song and which artist sings it?
Weber: Circles by Post Malone.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show and why did you choose that movie?
Weber: My favorite movie is Secretariat because it's so beautiful and inspiring, and my favorite TV show is Yellowstone because it's full of action and drama and it always leaves me in suspense after every episode.

What is your favorite restaurant to eat at and what is your go-to meal there?
Weber: My favorite restaurant is Nikko Japanese Steak and Seafood in my hometown back in Maryland. My go-to meal is the hibachi filet mignon with double fried rice. It is heaven on a plate!

If you could have one superpower, what would that be and why?
Weber: I would love to have the ability to read minds because I would be able to give quick comebacks and be prepared for anything and everything before it happens or before someone says it.

Who is your favorite professional athlete and what makes them your favorite?
Weber: My favorite professional athlete is Justin Tucker because he is extremely humble and strong in his faith, all while being the best kicker in the NFL.

What is your favorite spot to go to on campus or in town/region?
Weber: My favorite spot in Morehead is Cave Run Lake to go lay out in the sun and go swimming.

If you could time travel to any year/time period, what would you choose and why?
Weber: I would time travel to the 1970s so that I could experience the good music, good vibes, cool cars and 70s fashion.
