MOREHEAD, Ky. -- With a win Saturday at Eastern Illinois, Morehead State men's basketball could run its curent winning streak to four games. The Eagles and Panthers tip off at EIU's Lantz Arena at 4:15 p.m. ET.
The Eagles picked up a 58-49 win at SIUE Thursday, while the Panthers dropped their first home game of the year the same night against Eastern Kentucky. MSU sits at 12-12 overall and 6-5 in the OVC. EIU is 11-12 in all games and 4-7 in league action.
The Eagles claimed the first game in the season series back on Jan. 11 at MSU. Trailing for much of the contest, MSU scored its only victory of the year when it trailed at the half.

GAME NOTES
• Morehead State trails 23-16 in the all-time series with Eastern Illinois, dating back to 1981-82. The Eagles have won three of the last four in the series and are just 5-13 all-time in games at EIU.
• MSU allowed only 15 points in the first half to SIUE Thursday, marking the best defensive half since allowing 15 to Saint Louis on Dec. 2, 2015.

Jordan Walker has scored 1,411 career points, sitting at No. 18 on the Eagles' all-time scoring list.

• The Eagles blocked six more shots at SIUE, upping their OVC lead for rejections to 112.
• MSU is 12-0 this season when holding a lead with a minute left and are 11-1 when they have a lead at halftime.
• After having its lowest field goal percentage for a half (.233) in the first 20 minutes at SIUE, the Eagles had their second-best shooting accuracy (.586) for a half this year in the second 20 minutes.
