Alexa Potts Repeats as Air Rifle All-American
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- After helping the Morehead State Rifle program to its first-ever Ohio Valley Conference championship this season, senior Alexa Potts has again been named an Honorable Mention Air Rifle All-American.

Earning the honor last year, she was the program's first-ever All-American and adds another accolade to the long list of accomplishments she earned while shooting at Morehead State.

"I am so proud of Alexa and all she has accomplished with our program," said head coach Alan Joseph. "She worked every day to improve throughout her career and is also an honor student. There is no doubt she is one of the top shooters in our program's history, and she is an example of how hard work can propel all student-athletes to personal and team success."

In 2019-20, Potts led the Eagles with a 589.7 Air Rifle average in being named First-Team All-OVC for a second consecutive season. She also earned First-Team All-OVC honors in Smallbore.

Potts was named one of just six Ohio Valley Conference Scholar-Athletes last year and participated in the NCAA Championships.

Potts exits the program holding school records in individual Smallbore and Air Rifle, individual combined and Smallbore prone.
