Question Trio With: Women's Basketball's Gabby Crawford
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- What have Morehead State student-athletes been accomplishing at home since March? What are their goals for this coming season? Find out in a new quick-hitter series called Question Trio.

Women's basketball graduating senior Breuna Jackson interviewed current student-athletes to see what has been on their minds. In the second segment, we profile women's basketball's Gabby Crawford. From Munford, Tenn., Crawford played her freshman season at the University of Mississippi before transferring to MSU and sitting out the 2019-20 season.

Q: Who is the most fun teammate on your team and why?
GC: Tomiyah (Alford), because she is a caring person. She's free spirited and she's just unapologetically herself. Tomiyah is just that person who can always bring a smile to your face no matter what. You can always depend on Tomiyah to make everyone laugh and smile every day.

Q: What has kept you focused during this challenging time of COVID-19?
GC: This year is personally more of a statement year, due to the fact I had to sit out last year. Also I have many goals set for myself along with the team. I've been waiting on this moment, and COVID-19 is just making me push myself even harder because this virus has stopped a lot of things but it won't stop me from becoming a better version of myself.

Q; What is your mindset going into this new school year?
GC: My mentality is to be locked in and focused on the one thing I've been speaking on since I've transferred, which is being an OVC Champion. As I mentioned before this season is a statement year. My mindset is to also set us up not only on the court but also off the court, which I know starts with setting examples . I can speak for my teammates and coaches when I say our mindset together is P.U.R.G.E.
